So Mandy made me a set of prayer beads based off my design.
No, these are not Catholic Rosaries. I am not Catholic.. not even Christian for that matter. Many different religions/spiritual beliefs use prayer beads.
But mainly, I just think they're pretty and wanted some for my own personal path. :)
You can blame Discworld, the priests on that Mud use prayer beads and Gemma lets you design your own (well.. what type of materials anyhow).

Sprained my wrist at work yesterday.. sucked. Hurt it around 3-4, started to notice it around 7-8 when things started to calm down. By 10 my eyes were threatening to water up just by turning my arm to look at my watch. Ended up having to ask Maria to move it to my left arm so I could see the time. :P
Its doing better today, ice packing it every 3 hours like WebMD said to do and took a tylenol PM last night to knock me out. At least I can play WoW a little today, last night I barely got my shoes off. :P

Might update more later when I can type easier.

Playing World of Warcraft again, trying to get my tauren up to 70.
I would play Discworld but.. after working all day in the toy department, I really don't want to sit and read text all night.
Oh, and my tauren is 65 as of last night. Woot. Not too long now.
For those wanting to level 'fast'.. try the mod: QuestHelper. It sorts through your quests and figures out the most efficient route to do them. It wont include group quests though, so you have to go to those on your own. Or.. it might but I haven't figured out how to make it yet.

In national events, Barrack Obama won the presidency.
I'm not happy about it, but I'll give him a chance since he is my president now - or will be in January.

Mum bought me a wii today, and Star Wars Force Unleashed.
Then I bought Wii Sports off ebay (my wii is refurbished.. they didn't have anew one, but mine came with a nunchuk so its ok).
David said its ok for us to just send 1171 down instead of 2171 (he paid for Dad's funeral costs) since Dad gave him some caliphers. So, thats 1k more out of the life insurance we get to keep. Probably going to be used to redo the floors or whatever it was Mum was planning.
Just hope she doesn't spend it all right away, we need fall back money until I get a job.
Am hoping Home Depot calls me in on Monday or Tuesday for a second interview. Wish me luck, I need the job.

I went up to Plano this past Saturday to play Vampire: the Eternal Struggle. My puny Jyhad card deck was no match for.. well, anything. But its ok, I had fun and was nice seeing people again. Hope I can go back again for the next one.
Am also contemplating joining the Camarilla once I start CNA classes, if the budget and scheduling allows. Ordo Dracul, of course. Though, I might go Gangrel this time, more than likely actually.

I think thats most of it.. still having huge problems sleeping because everytime I try to do so I think of my dad. It'll pass though, eventually. Until then, I'm generally pretty demn tired all the time.

We had the pastor read a poem at Dad's funeral today. Am adding it below.





The Final Inspection

They put a morphine iv in him today. His body isn't taking any liquids or nutrients anymore. They say it could be just hours now, or a few days. Not much longer than that though.

Got the call this morning from my mom. THe doctors informed here there wasn't any chance of saving him. They're going to try and make him as comfortable as possible.

The Good:
I start CNA classes on Aug 18th.

The Bad: I'm home alone for a week, if not more. While some see this as a good thing, its going to be really quiet and empty around here.

The Ugly: Cause of The Bad is due to my mom staying at the hospital with my dad. He's been there since Friday and from the looks of it.. might not be coming home.
On top of being dehydrated, his calcium levels are 67% higher than they're suppose to be, his sodium is high, his protein and potassium are low. His kidney is weakening (keep in mind, he only has one, and its got a capheter tube coming out of it), he has a urinary track infection because the doctors didn't cover up the tubing right the last time. But the worst of all, is that the cancer in his bladder has now spread. When the doctors opened him up a week ago, air got into the cancer and made it grow. Its now attached to the surface of his stomach, its so enlarged its pinching into the nerves for his groin and lower body, and has spread to his spine. Now, they also think its at the base of his neck but they're unsure if its that or calcium build up.
Its been rough, its still rough, and its just going to get rougher.
