I had some notion last night to not log on the internet at all, for like a week.
Lying in my bed this afternoon, boredom seeping in and not wanting to play my dc|ps2|xbox and with the gc being in the living room... got up and got online.
I can just as soon quit being online as Poptart can quit being gay.

So I've been reading the Ordo Dracul covenant book lately.
Interesting read but... phew. If Delo dies, I'm playing Unaligned. ^_^
So much inner-cov politics, relationships, systems that no one is currently following.
The question pops up after being through half the book.
Keep having all the Ordo Dracul be portrayed as it currently is in the DFW game?
Or, twist the players to portray Ordo Dracul as the book says it is?
Now, we've got some book thumpers in the game that would definitely go with option 2.
But, is it worth it? It really benefits nothing but my own desire to get things down to a t.
Like me and spellbooks in D&D. I write down how many pages my spells take up, I write down what my spellbooks look like, and sometimes even make an Arcane Mark for my wizard.
While fighting monsters I sit with the thought in my head, "If the skin remains intact, would it make for a good spellbook binding?" "How will this thing help decorate my spellbook?"
I've already been placing some changes on the group, all though its only minor decoration.
Terms, really. Academy, chapter house, Covener (Which by the way, Billie and I have agreed to change it from what it says in the book, read below.), Blood Coven, Caucus, etc.
A Covener in the book is the highest ranking Unsworn in the city. They are in charge of arranging and holding the monthly Caucus.
Now, considering we have no Sworn, and unless people start putting it in their backstories, we wont have Sworn... Her and I decided to change Covener to simply mean, Local Leader.
Priscus, Sr. Board Member, etc.
We also exclude the "highest ranking" because well, she isn't. I am.
Well, Covenant Status dot wise, she is now because she is the 'leader'.
But, Dragon's Tongue wise? I am.
I am happy to not be leader though, leaves me freedom to do other things.

I still have half the book to go through, I'll give a better review when its all done.

Been playing a lot of Discworld lately. Its been going really good too.
Lorim is up to .. I think Magic.Sp.Defensive 258 or so. I'm aiming for 300, which is Guild Max before you have to start finding a new trainer.
A long way to go though, 1.8m xp is what I need to hit 300.
Not to mention the gold value of it. In Ankh-Morpork I was looking at $230!!
But then, the xp will come easily if I group with Platy pus and if I get enough purple mineral powder and sell it to Fruitcakes, I can make enough to train up the skill.
After Defensive... I definitely need to work on Dodge and Parry.
All the while, working on Chanting so I can cast the bloody blorpling spell.
Tired of jewelry blowing up on me and nearly killing me. x_x

All this talk of games, time to go play one. Probably Discworld. :P
