Beginning Song: Keith Urban - Raining on Sunday
Wow, I just slept for 15 hours, must of really been tired... x_x.
Yesterday after I woke up I started to work on an html version of my d&d character for Kyle's online Forgotten Realms Campaign I got asked to play in.
I felt kind of bad when I was talking to Daniel about it in the beginning, because I realized that Daniel had been asking me for years to play in an online campaign with him and I'd turn him down every time.
Cory asks me to play a game with him, Mandy, and their friends and I say yes.
Well, I at least hesitated because its not a campaign world I'm familiar with but still, didn't take long to get a "sure". :P
More on that in a bit.
But yah, worked on the html thing and at 5pm when I had finished the basic sheet, went to bed and konked out pretty quickly. Didn't wake up until 8am this morning.
Thats usually not something I care about, its sleep. But, turns out Nedra called last night at 7:30. Have no idea what she wanted, have no idea why my mom can't answer the damn phone and wake me up.
Shrug. Texted her on my phone this morning when I saw the caller id and told her I was asleep and didn't hear the phone (truth). Asked her if she needed anything or just to talk, was probably just to talk but, never can know. So, waiting on a reply on that today.
Turns out also that Debi PM'd me last night on the boards at like 8pm. So, something else I'm having a hugely delayed response to. :P
Right, so anyhow. :P
My character for Kyle's game is a Moon Elf Diviner (Wizard with Divination as a specialty school, Necromancy is my prohibited shool of magic). Named it Lunar Newt. I've been waiting for an eternity to use that name on something other than Discworld. :P
Ok, for those that aren't cool and don't know what all that school jibberish means:
In D&D each spell falls under a certain school of magic. Abjuration, Conjuration, Divination, Evocation, Illusion, Enchantment, Necromancy, Transumation, Universal.
When you specialize, you pick a school and you're cooler in it. You get to cast an extra spell a day, as long as its from that school. The spells from that school are easier to learn (i.e. decipher from other magical tomes/scrolls). And then, you pick 2 schools in which you are forbidden to learn (unless something I'll get to). Divination requires only 1 school to be prohibited. And, in the 2 schools mentioned above, Divination cannot be a prohibited school. So it really sucks if you pick a specialty in a school other than Divination. But, for some people its easier to choose which schools to prohibit. I, am not one of those people, I love my spells. The only school I rarely use is Necromancy.
The html version of my d&d character is still missing the Spells and Familiar section, but am going to work on those today.
Lemme know what ya'll think of it. Honest opinions please. Color scheme, is it easy to read? Layout, etc.
So, yah, gonna go work on that some more. :P
*huge hugs* I was just like, wow.. I slept for 15 hours, this requires a LJ entry. snicker.
Love ya all.

But, this is my 3rd wizard with the new system.
However.. if I tried to play a meleer, or even something other than a wizard like.. a cleric. Yah, I'd be lost on a lot of stuff for a little while. :P
It'd be like, me trying to play Delo as a Crone or Sanctified, it'd take me a bit to get used to. :P
